Join State Senator Rachel Ventura and the African American Business Association of Will County (AABA), in partnership with the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA), for an informative GATA Certification: Your Pathway to State Funding workshop.

This session is designed to help business owners, nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and organizations seeking state funding opportunities better understand the GATA certification process. Participants will learn how to become GATA prequalified, avoid common grant application mistakes, and receive live guidance from ICJIA staff.

The workshop will take place Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 11:30 AM–1:00 PM at AABA Headquarters, 101 N. Reed Street, Joliet, IL 60432. Lunch will be provided, and a hybrid option via Webex will also be available.
